Circle of Life

So many hours spent looking through this window, so many decisions made, so many dreams! It is a simple roof window through which only the sky can be seen. Nothing more, nothing less!
Watching the sky is tantamount to reading a book, the book of life. The sky is the mirror of the continuous alternations of life. Sometimes it is bright blue while other times deep grey, with its dense clouds travelling with the wind. But the cycle is the same, sunrise, sunset and then night. This cycle never stops, no matter the weather or time. What changes is how long the sun decides to stay out, looking at me through the window.  When he decides to take his brightness away, he gives way to the dim colours of the clouds or lets the stars shine bringing with them the brightness of the moon. This is how life rolls and every roll brings with it a plethora of options for all of us to choose from. It's the circle of life, pivoting us forward!
Looking at the sky generates in me feelings of freedom and strength. It is this unlimitedness that makes my goals attainable. Sometimes people are afraid of looking at the sky because they are afraid to face their dreams. Personally, I need these moments to search through the plethora of options to find my own dreams, to understand who I am, what I can do and what I want to do. Staring at the unlimited nurtures a dialogue with myself where my deepest desires and dreams are allowed to surface. This is the time when my actions are explained, my motives, the causes and consequences of my life. Everything becomes clear when dealing with ourselves, without external influences. All these continuous and unpredictable alternations depict human thought. Happiness, sadness, loneliness, each with its own beauty correlates to the different shades of the sky. I feel that the sky helps us realize our significance compared to the universe that hosts our existence.
Looking through this window, I have realized that in this life, there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done.  What we have to do is try, as hard as possible, to satisfy the need of choosing the options that will make our world even more beautiful with our minimum contribution.
